Kentucky native Rob Carr is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where he holds a degree in Journalism. He started his photojournalism career working for newspapers and wire services throughout the south and began working for Getty Sport in 2011 based in the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. region. During his career he’s covered news and sport around the world including Hurricane Katrina, Presidential inaugurations, Super Bowls, World Series, golf majors, four summer Olympic games as well as recently covering his 30th Kentucky Derby in September.
