Raffaella Gianolla was born in Venice, Italy and through her love of photography, art and architecture she earned a degree at the University of Architecture of Venice. During this time she balanced her studies working as a photographer and archivist. Her change of focus to sport arrived in 2003 when she started covering the MotoGP World Championship. This offered a number of roles within the motorsport world including team co-ordinator and press officer and then onto work as a photo editor and photographer (both in an editorial and commercial capacity for clients including MotoGP and WorldSBK). Her passion for photography and motorsport enables her to capture those unique moments of emotion and provide a different photographic perspective as she travels from circuit to circuit.
